Pep Girbent, the painter behind El Vermeer nº 36, guided us through this fascinating artistic project.
On the last day of our festival, the public enjoyed the live performance of Pakita y Pon, between our animation session and the screening of Modelo 77.
Co-producer Michiel Snyders and Thomas van den Berg presented and discussed Nayola with the audience, the first portuguese animation feature film to be distributed to the cinemas.
We enjoyed live music at Filmhuis Lumen with the Delft jazz duo Erwin Beijersbergen and Wim Ninaber. The performance took place between the screenings of Nayola and La Maternal.
In the animation session Iberia Anima-te, the director Mónica Santos presented her unique artistic vision through which she creates universes that reinvent the real, giving them a poetic and surreal atmosphere.
